Artisan Wines is situated in the Oratia Valley on the outskirts of Auckland, where wine grapes have been produced since the early 1900's.

Our family vineyards in Oratia produce batches of award winning estate grown wines.

Enjoy great wine and delicious food in our tranquil rural environment just 20 minutes from downtown Auckland.

The vineyard cafe has a menu based on regional foods sourced from the vibrant Oratia Farmers Market.  The market operates at Artisan on Saturday mornings all year round from 9am-12pm.  This is a must visit when in Auckland.

Awa Valley Vineyard

Come and enjoy a unique vineyard setting just 20 minutes from Auckland, Awa Valley Vineyard is located in a beautiful valley in Kumeu's Wine Country west of Auckland.

The vineyard was established in 1970 and has fifteen acres are planted in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot , Malbec and Cabernet Franc. All the grapes are handpicked and the wines are crafted to express the fruit driven characteristics unique to our vineyard and the seasonal influences of each vintage.

Babich Wines

One of New Zealand’s largest family-owned wine companies, Babich Wines was established in 1916 and has evolved as a major producer, now exporting to numerous markets around the world.

Set in the picturesque rolling country in Henderson, the Babich Winery has one of the loveliest vineyard views in Auckland and we are open 6 days a week.

Relax and enjoy the views from our pleasant outdoor deck or enjoy a game of petanque (boules available on request) in our picnic area. Feel free to bring your own food/picnic or purchase snacks from the shop to accompany the wine. The cellar shop stocks all of our present vintage wines as well as specialty wines.

Gallery Q is now incorporated with WINE & ART, come for a different experience out west in the Kumeu Wine Country.

Wine tasting from five locally grown and produced wine makers while enjoying fine art.  Art to please the eye and wine to please the palate.  An eclectic mix of works by dedicated New Zealand and overseas artrists.  Paintings, sculpture, multi-media, clay, ceramic, flax, steel, jewellery, glass and handcrafted wooden furniture.

Kerr Farm Vineyard

You are welcome to come sit around a big oak table with Jaison and Wendy Kerr and taste wine made from grapes all grown on our home vineyard.

We have 23 sunny rolling acres planted in Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay, Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon. Kerr Farm Wine is proudly produced in a fruit driven style promoting Kumeu varietal characteristics.
